The Wisdom of the Horse™ and the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) have joined together in a collaborative effort called Operation Silver Spurs designed to enrich the lives of U.S. military veterans throughout the country.

Brad Myers, founder and chief facilitator of The Wisdom of the Horse™ is a Marine Corps veteran and is on a mission to give back to those who have served through the magical transformation and healing power of horses. The Wisdom of the Horse™ has changed many lives and is continuing to do so.

In 2007, a pilot therapeutic riding program for wounded veterans was conducted by NARHA at Ft. Myer, VA. The program called, Horses for Heroes, was and is a huge success. Great results in physical therapy were achieved and the program gained national recognition.

Going forward, the synchronicity of The Wisdom of the Horse™ and Horses for Heroes is proving itself in providing veterans with all the tools needed to achieve re-entry and lead productive lives.

Freedom has a price. Operation Silver Spurs is helping to pay the price for freedom.
